Scholastic English Book Fair

Friday, April 20 - Thursday, April 26, 2018

Pine Grove Library will once again this year host a Scholastic English Book Fair starting on Friday, April 20 and ending on Thursday, April 26, 2018. This book fair offers an opportunity for your child to purchase books is a fundraiser that brings new books and supplies to our school library.

Each class will visit the book fair once with their class. This visit will take place on the child's regular library day. Parents are invited to send money with their student to purchase  books, visit the book fair with their children's class or on their own when they are in the school. If sending cash with students, please ensure it is safely kept in a wallet/purse or in a sealed envelope with the child's name on the front to try to avoid the loss of money. The amount of money sent to school with students is at the parent's discretion. Usually, there is a good selection of books ranging from $7-$15 with some costing more. There is no obligation to make a purchase.  The book fair will be open after school and in the evening on the night of the Pine Grove Spring Concert on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 4 PM - 8 PM.

Flyers will go home with all students before the book fair opens and will show a small sample of the books that will be for sale.

Payment will be accepted in the forms of cash, debit, Mastercard, American Express and Visa. (sorry -no cheques) If parents choose to allow a student to bring a debit card to book fair, please discuss with the child how much money he/she is permitted to spend and any expectations you as the parent have for the safekeeping and use of the debit card.

Thank you for supporting our library and happy reading!
