Letter from Mr. Silvestri

Dear future Pine Grove families,

We are sorry that we are again not able to offer an in-person Grade 2 orientation session, normally held in late June in our school library. Enclosed are the materials that are typically provided to the new families who join us, and some important reminders.

Please remember the following:

1. Have your child wear the enclosed name tag on the first day of school. Students taking the bus and wearing this name tag will be escorted off the bus first and brought to their Grade 2 teachers. Walkers will also be easily identified and assisted by school staff when wearing this tag.

2. The green slip must be filled in for the first day of school to inform teachers of how your child will get home from school on a regular basis. Grade 2 teachers will look for this green form from every student on the first day of school. Please keep it in a safe location over the summer months.

3. Read through the remaining information at your convenience, but before Tuesday, September 6, 2022, the first day of school.
